Melinda (Mel) holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), completing her studies in 2008. She additionally holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Mel has worked in the field of disability for approximately 12 years, specifically with NDIS participants since 2018. She has experience in working with adults presenting with functional impairment as a result of various disabilities and medical conditions, including (but not limited to): acquired and traumatic brain injuries, mental health conditions and spinal injuries.
In her spare time, Mel enjoys going to the gym, knitting/ crocheting, and trying to convince the Directors of Rehab Health and Fitness that they need an office dog.
